Getting In Touch With Me
You may call me at 631-779-3201. If I am not home, leave a message and I will call you back. Please clearly and slowly say your name and call back number. If you are calling from a cell phone, please repeat it. Provide two or three approximate times when you can be reached. Let me know if you want me to leave a message if you are not available (you have a right to confidentiality concerning your performance at SCCC). Please keep in mind that my schedule may prevent my calling you back for a day or two.
You may contact me at my SCCC e-mail address: Morser@sunysuffolk.edu. While school is in session I check my email at least once per day. Please be aware of the college's policy concerning email communication: we are expected to communicate using the email addresses that SCCC has provided for us (everyone enrolled or employed here has an email address). As a higher education student in New York State you have certain legal rights, including the right to have information concerning your grades and any other experiences at SCCC kept confidential. When a student contacts me using an email address that is not provided by the college, I have no assurance that I am addressing the actual student. So if you contact me from an email address other than the one you are provided as a student at SCCC, I may respond to let you know that I cannot communicate with you using that address, but nothing more.
As an adjunct (part time) faculty member, I do not have an office or office hours. However, if you wish to speak with me privately, let me know either by phone, e-mail or after class and I will make an appointment to meet with you.
